Dr Leon Stesin

MBBS, FRACGP, M.Hlth.Sc(Occupational Med), Grad. Cert. Aviation Med.

Dr Stesin graduated from Monash University in 1984, trained in general practice and has worked at Blackshaws Road Medical Centre (established in 1970) since 1989. He completed his Masters Degree in Occupational Medicine, Health and Safety, and a Graduate Certificate in Aviation Medicineand pursues his areas of interest which include:  Occupational Medicine, Aviation Medicine, Management of Drug and Alcohol problems, Travel Medicine, chronic and complex medical problems, minor surgical procedures and Geriatric Medicine.

Dr Stesin is an enthusiastic and experienced full-time general practitioner with a strong commitment to his patients and to the education of medical students and GP Registrars, scores of whom he has trained over the years.

In addition to English, he can consult in Russian and Italian.

When not at work, Dr Stesin can be found at home with his family, on the golf course, on his bike or at the gym!
