A/Professor Vinay Rane is an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist consulting at Melbourne Mothers. He provides a uniquely holistic and thorough approach to women’s health care. Whilst the practice caters to all women, it specialises in the care of professional and amateur athletes, working women and healthcare workers.

A/Professor Vinay Rane is a minimally invasive laparoscopic and robotic gynaecological surgeon. He returned to Melbourne after spending 2015 undertaking attachments at several institutions in the United States including the Mayo Clinic and Harvard University where he maintains collaborative relationships. His in-depth academic background and practical training (both in Australia and overseas) make him a leader in his field; abreast of all of the latest treatment options available.

A/Professor Rane delivers at Frances Perry Private Hospital, Epworth Freemasons, St Vincent’s Private Hospital East Melbourne and Werribee. He is also able to follow his patients to the Grand Hyatt Hotel for their post-natal care where appropriate. He has public appointments at The Women’s Hospital (Parkville), Northern and Sunshine Hospitals.
